An IAPS School

Hazlegrove is a member of IAPS (the Independent Association of Prep Schools) and our sports fixtures revolve around playing matches against other IAPS schools.

Additionally, IAPS organise National Competitions at U11, U12 and U13 levels which are open to all IAPS schools. These competitions often involve regional qualifiers with the top teams going on to play at National Finals - a tremendous achievement in itself.  Competitions include hockey, netball, athletics, swimming, squash and tennis among others and details of Hazlegrove's success at these competitions can be found on the Major Achievements page.

We have been asked by IAPS as a member school to remind our staff, pupils and parents of their guidelines for coaching, playing, spectating and parental support when participating in any sports fixtures.

IAPS Schools - Sports Code of Conduct

Nationally, there have been instances of behaviour from some schools which has been upsetting and completely unacceptable. At Hazlegrove, we pride ourselves on the way our staff, pupils and parents conduct themselves at sports fixtures but we would ask you to take time to read the guidelines.
