Year 2 Trip to Swanage
The Year 2 children enjoyed an exciting day in Swanage as the culmination of their term's topic on the Seaside.
Pre-Prep Circus
The children had a wonderful time performing for parents and family at the Pre-Prep Circus - "A fantastic display of the childrens' skills and confidence."
Reception Trip to Lyme Regis
The Reception children had a wonderful day at Lyme Regis, on the beach and at the Marine Aquarium.
New gardening equipment and raised vegetable beds for the pre-prep
The Friends were delighted to present a cheque for £1000 to the pre-prep earlier this week. The money, raised as part of the sponsored quiz, will be put straight to use in purchasing some new gardening tools for the children and in putting in some raised beds for growing things!
Year 1 Farm Visit
Year 1 spent a wonderful day at Gore Farm, Trent, near Sherborne, learning about all aspects of life on a farm, as part of their term's topic, 'Growing'.
Reception visit to Ditcheat Stables
The Reception children spent a sunny afternoon at Paul Nicholls' stables in Ditcheat.
Nursery's Train Trip
It was "All aboard" for the Nursery children on Monday as they boarded the Gartell Light Railway train.

Mr Stok, from Somerset Countryside Heritage and Tourism, spent the day with our Year 1 children, expanding their understanding of their current topic 'Homes'.
A visit from the rapping, recyling robot
Hazlegrove pupils aged 5 to 9 years old were treated to a show with the rapping robot, Recycler, while they learnt about how we can help our planet by doing more to control the amount of waste we produce.
Pre-Prep Charity Donation
The Pre-Prep children proudly presented a cheque to Mrs Brownjohn from Save the Children on Wednesday.
Pre-Prep Christmas celebrations
The Pre-Prep children, nursery to seven year olds, had an exciting end to the term with party games, Christmas craft activities, Christmas lunch and the highlight of the day - a visit from Santa in a helicopter!

The Rainbow Room - a new arts, craft and ICT room for the Pre-Prep - is a fantastic dedicated space for the children to fulfil their artistic aspirations as well as an ICT suite to compliment their classroom activities.

Eggstravaganza Day
On a bright and sunny day the Pre-Prep enjoyed the activities of Eggstravaganza Day.
Year 1 visit to Stourhead Church and Gardens
Year 1 visited Stourhead Gardens as part of their Science and Humanities class project.
Reception Train Ride
The Reception children climbed aboard a British Rail train at Castle Cary for a short trip to Frome. This was the culmination of their Transport project this term.
World Book Day
On 5 March the Pre-Prep dressed up and paraded their costumes for World Book Day. The day was full of fun book related activities.
Year 1 Visitor - Victorian England
Year 1 were paid a visit from Mr Stok, Countryside Heritage and Tourism Outreach Officer.
Year 2 Indian Project
Year 2 journeyed to India this term when they were visited by Actionaid worker Mrs Greoghan-Smith.
Nursery visit to Stourhead
Once again the Nursery visited Stourhead gardens to look for signs of Spring. Everyone had a very enjoyable morning walking around the lake looking at spring flowers and buds.

Year 2 Visit to @Bristol
Year 2 enjoyed a very exciting visit to @Bristol. The children and staff participated in some of the many activities this wonderful museum has to offer.
