Children from four schools came together to see artist, author and former Children's Laureate, Chris Riddell, at Hazlegrove.

We were delighted to welcome children from North Cadbury Church of England Primary School, Countess Gytha Primary from Queen Camel and King's Hall School from Taunton. Our own Year 3 to Year 6 children were very excited to share this wonderful opportunity to see the artist who created Ottoline, Goth Girl and Mr Munroe.

Afterwards, the children were able to buy a book if they wished and have it signed by Chris Riddell. Our wonderful, local bookshop, Winstone's from Sherborne came along with a super selection of books.

Our Radio Hazlegrove Club children did a really interesting interview with Chris Riddell which you can listen to.

A really great time was had by everyone, and it was a shame when Chris Riddell had to go, but we will meet him again one day...

Thank you to Pan Macmillan and Winstone's Bookshop for offering us the chance to host this fabulous event.
