Fantastic success for Hazlegrove Karate teacher at the World Martial Arts Games

Many Congratulations to Hazlegrove Karate teacher Peter Fawbert on his tremendous success at the World Martial Arts Games (WMAG) in Florida.

Sensei Pete travelled to Florida to represent Team GB and at the games.  He competed in several divisions and gained 3 Gold Medals, 1 Silver Medal and 2 Bronze Medals.  

His overall results were as follows:

• Korean Black Belt Forms - Gold
• Black Belt Over 95kg Kumite - Gold
• Black Belt Over 95kg Continuous Sparring - Gold
• Black Belt Team Kumite - Silver
• Japanese Black Belt kata - Bronze
• Black Belt Bladed Weapons - Bronze
