The Pre-Prep Summer Circus was a flamboyant spectacle!
Following Circus Skills sessions earlier in the term, the children from Nursery to Year 2 performed in the Marquee against a backdrop of over 100 colourful balloons. As Mr Birch rolled the drum and crashed the cymbal the children tumbled through hoops and performed somersaults before amazed parents. With wonderful music from around the world, they balanced peacock feathers, spun plates, juggled, hula hooped, skipped, stilt and tight rope walked, and with the help of Steve from Circus into Schools, even made a human pyramid!
They have had lots of fun being creative, learning new skills, working together, learning to persevere and developing their confidence. There were lots of happy faces.
