Year 3 were delighted to welcome local farmers, Mr and Mrs Foot, into school to share their wealth of farming knowledge and expertise.

The children learnt about how the different types of crops are grown and what they are used for. They looked at how the weather changes though out the year and how this effects the ways crops grow. The children also got to see different types of mini machinery and investigated how these are used to help the farmers.
