Hockey

Congratulations to the Under 11 boys who on the very first day of term won the Sherborne Trophy and to Arthur N and Josh C who were awarded the goalkeeper of the tournament and player of the tournament respectively.

All of the boys have started the season well and it has been good to see all boys from Year 3 -8  representing the school.

Netball

The term has started well with lots of training and matches against local schools.  Well done to the Under 12 team that were runners up at the recent Taunton School Tournament.

Cross Country

Following a very successful Somerset County Championship at Aldon Hill last weekend. We were delighted that the following have been selected to represent the county in Truro next Saturday at the South west Schools Championships.  Here they will compete against the top 10 runners from Devon, Dorset, Wiltshire, Gloucestershire, Avon and Cornwall.

Jake F, Oliver L, Alice de P, Anya E and Kai S.  In addition, Fred F and Josh M are reserves.

Swimming

It was great to see so many Hazlegrove swimmers competing in the Regional Qualifiers at Millfield earlier this week.  We now have to wait to hear if any have been successful in their bid to secure a place at the National IAPs Finals that take place at Crawley in May.

Judo

Good luck to the three girls that take part in the IAPS Girls Judo Congress this weekend in High Wycombe.
