The children are very excited as the Friends of Hazlgrove have bought the school two new Hegnar saws for the DT department and they contributed to the new tower in the adventure playground.
The Hegnar saws are particularly welcome as the time taken to complete projects will be massively reduced - what would have taken several weeks by hand they can achieve in a single lesson! They have already been put to good use by Year 6.
The playground tower is guaranteed to be immensely popular - especially in fine weather!
The money was raised from Fireworks Night, Quiz Night and the Art Exhibition.
