End of term sports round-up

A round up of this term's sports of cricket, rounders, tennis and athletics...

Cricket

This has been a super term in total we have had fourteen half centuries and two centuries scored as well as three children taking five wickets in a match.  Congratulations these are hard to come by and a real testament to your cricketing skills.

Rounders 

Congratulations to the twenty one girls who have achieved the magic ‘5 or more rounders’ in a match.  They were awarded their rounders balls in final assembly.

Athletics

Our very successful season was finished off in fine style at the National Prep Schools’ Championships at the Alexander Stadium last week.  With both Isaac Pugh and Daisy Davies gaining podium finishes.  Isaac gaining second in the 70m hurdles and Daisy gaining 3^rdplace in the 300m and 2^ndplace in the 800m.  Throughout the season a total of thirty one school records have been broken – an incredible achievement.

Tennis

Good luck to the 15 Hazlegrove children competing in the National IAPS Tennis Finals during the summer holiday.
