World book day fun for Pre-Prep

“World Book Day” gave the Pre-Prep children, and their teachers, the chance to dress up as their favourite character and to celebrate their love of books and reading.

The day began with a Costume Parade, during which each child from Nursery to Year 2 could show their costume to the rest of the Pre-Prep department. The costumes were absolutely wonderful and we are grateful to the children’s parents and families for their efforts.

Later in the morning, the children were able to share their favourite books with their peers and also took part in an illustration workshop with Maria Floyd. The pictures they drew under Maria’s guidance during these sessions were bound together in a “Class Book” as a memento of this very special day.
