Head of Pre-Prep - September 2017
Hazlegrove seeks to appoint a dynamic and inspiring leader to join the Leadership Team of this happy, thriving and ambitious South West Prep School.
This is an outstanding opportunity for the right candidate to play a pivotal role in the further development of a progressive, outward looking and reflective school.
Hazlegrove is a leading independent Prep School in the South West with approximately 375 pupils including 100 full boarders and around 60 pupils in the Pre-Prep. The school is located on a stunning 50 acre estate set within 200 acres of Somerset parkland. It is a very special and unique school with an intangible sense of wellbeing.
The Pre-Prep is set within a self-contained purpose built facility and caters for pupils aged 2½ - 7. Most lessons are taught there. Pupils also benefit from the outstanding facilities in the Prep School.
Directly responsible to the Head and working closely with him, the Head of Pre-Prep at Hazlegrove is a strategically important and senior position. The successful applicant will be expected to teach up to half a timetable.
The successful applicant is likely to have Key Stage 1 or EYFS experience but this is not essential. S/he will have the capacity to demonstrate outstanding leadership skills, will have a clear educational vision and will be a strong communicator.

Resident Matron - April 2017
We are looking for a caring and supportive Resident Matron to work as an integral part of the team in the supervision of a girls' boarding house. There are approximately 42 girls in the house aged from 7 - 13 and the Matron is responsible for ensuring that a boarder's time at Hazlegrove is a positive experience that allows them to grow in a caring environment.
This is a live-in role, working term time only, and accommodation and meals are provided.
